Born in Veneto region, based in Florence, I am a qualified tour guide<\/strong>, tour leader<\/strong>, garden historian<\/strong> and travel designer<\/strong>\u00a0with a true passion for art, foreign languages, travels, books, and garden history.<\/p>\n

I firmly believe in tourism as a source of value and an opportunity for cultural exchange. I promote slow tourism and an approach that respects museum spaces, landscape, and people who live and experience it.<\/p>\n

I’m curious, restless, enthusiastic: always suffering to know, to study, to see in an everlasting, eternal passion of life.<\/p>\n

It doesn’t matter which kind of cultural knowledge you’re carrying on: the key-point is to transmit passion, to enhance emotions and to nourish dreams and soul.<\/p>\n

Graduated in ‘Planning and Management of Cultural Tourism<\/strong>‘ at Padua University<\/strong> in 2010, I studied seven foreign languages<\/strong>: English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, and Portuguese.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Between 2005 and 2019, I have attended several study-holidays<\/strong> abroad (La Ciotat, Saint Petersburg, Kyoto, Salvador da Bahia, Bath) and in 2007-2008 I was a student on the Erasmus exchange program<\/strong> at the Universidad <\/strong><\/span>Aut\u00f3noma <\/strong>de Madrid<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2011 I became a licensed tour leader<\/strong> (English, French, Spanish, Russian) and in 2016 I became a licensed tour guide<\/strong> in Florence<\/strong> (English, French, Spanish).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2022 I obtained a license as travel agent<\/strong> in Tuscany.
\n<\/span>
\nAfter a garden tour to Naples and Amalfi Coast in 2015, when I worked as a <\/span>tour leader for the garden club \u201eAssociation Acanthe\u201c (Franche-Comt\u00e9), my passion for garden history<\/strong> bloomed.
\n<\/span>
\nDuring this new experience, I appreciated so much the relaxed, cosy and blissful atmosphere of the <\/span>garden tours<\/strong>, a slower kind of tourism imbued with nature. Taking a stroll through the gardens is a gift: it offers memorable views in a sensory feast and gives you a sense of deep wellness and happiness!<\/span><\/p>\n

That\u2019s the reason why I have started studying <\/span>garden history<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In 2020 I attended the online course ‘English Landscape Gardens from 1650 to present day’<\/strong>\u00a0at Oxford University<\/strong> and\u00a0 the online course ‘Garden Design’<\/strong>\u00a0held by Dr Maria Chiara Pozzana at Garden Design Firenze<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2021 I attended the online courses ‘The Medici gardens<\/strong>‘ and ‘Veneto Gardens<\/strong>‘ held by Dr Deborah Trentham at The Garden Historians<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2021-2023 I studied for the diploma of “Garden History<\/strong>” at the Royal Botanic Garden of Edinburgh<\/strong>. The two-year diploma allowed me to delve into the history of British and Italian gardens, Victorian horticulture, the historical aspects of gardening in Great Britain, and the legislation and conservation of historic gardens in Europe. During these two years I also undertook numerous study trips<\/strong> to British<\/strong> and Italian gardens<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In 2024, I attended the online course ‘Oltre il giardino. Seminare conoscenze<\/strong>‘\u00a0 held by Fondazione Scuola dei Beni e Attivit\u00e0 Culturali<\/strong>, organized by the Ministry of Culture<\/strong> and financiated by the European Union – NextGeneration EU.<\/p>\n

In 2026, my specialist article ‘The Evolution of Roof Gardens in Medicean Florence: hanging gardens, orticini and the giardino di piazza<\/strong>‘ has been published on the summer edition of the Gardens Trust Journal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Since 2022, I have been regularly working as tour guide, tour leader, and travel designer on tailor-made garden tours<\/strong> to the gardens of Tuscany, Lazio, Veneto, Lake Como <\/strong>and Lake Maggiore<\/strong>\u00a0for the French garden clubs “Union des Parcs et Jardins de Normandie<\/em>” and “Association des Parcs et Jardins de Paris et Ouest Parisien<\/em>“, for the American tour operator Riccio Travel,<\/em> for the English tour operator Brookland Travel<\/em>, and for the Spanish tour operator Entre Jardines.<\/em><\/p>\n
