The <\/span>Roses Garden<\/b> was founded in 1895 with the roses collection of Attilio Pucci. Nowadays, it is scattered with Jean Michel Folon\u2019s sculptures, it boasts a unique collection of 350 roses variety and a small, refined Japanese garden as well. It is called \u201eShorai Garden\u201c and it celebrates the twinning between Florence and Ky\u014dto.<\/span><\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\n

The <\/span>Iris Garden<\/b> was founded in 1954 by Flaminia Specht and Nita Stross Radicati, both members of the Italian Society of Friends of Flowers. The Iris garden was created in order to house an International Competion of Irises. Today, it spreads over 2 hectares with 300 species of flowers and it offers a breathtaking view over Florence.<\/span><\/p>\n

NB: the Roses Garden and the Iris garden are free. The Roses Garden is open all year round; the Iris Garden is usually open from April to May, during the irises blossom.
