Pienza<\/b> sera la pr\u00e9mi\u00e8re \u00e9tappe de notre itin\u00e9raire: la ville id\u00e9ale de la Renaissance, con\u00e7ue et cr\u00e9\u00e9e par l\u2019architecte Bernardo Rossellino pour le Pape Pie II (n\u00e9 Enea Silvio Piccolomini) ne pouvait pas manquer. Le village, appel\u00e9 Corsignano, changea son nom en Pienza en 1462 sous la volont\u00e9 du Pape Pie II, un des plus grands humanistes et m\u00e9c\u00e8nes de l\u2019histoire. Nous visiterons les petits jardins formels de <\/span>Palazzo Piccolomini<\/b>, une vraie fen\u00eatre d\u2019o\u00f9 on pourra admirer la pl\u00e9nitude de la beaut\u00e9 du paysage siennois. Les tournages de la s\u00e9rie \u201cLes M\u00e9dicis\u201d ont \u00e9t\u00e9 tourn\u00e9es entre les jardins et la cour du Palazzo Piccolomini, choisi comme demeure de la dynastie m\u00e9dic\u00e9enne. Construite entre le 1924 et le 1939 par l\u2019architecte Cecil Pinsent pour Antonio et Iris Origo, Villa La Foce est une propriet\u00e9 magnifique, surplombante les Cretes Siennoises, brod\u00e9es par la floraison jaune des gen\u00eats.
