Watercolour workshop in Florence
Allegedly the Macchiaioli painted in the churchyard of the Basilica of San Salvatore al Monte, in Florence. Would you like to become a Macchiaiolo painter for a day? Learning how to paint in watercolour in the gardens of Florence!
The watercolour workshop is carried out en plein air in the company of the painter Robi Pistolozzi. Born in Grosseto, Robi is an experienced painter who studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence; she is an art therapy professor and a painter of botanical watercolours and illustrations, both in realist and informal depiction. She loves to promote this particular art, called „free watercolour“.
Let yourself be inspired by Florence’s flora: the brush is just waiting for you!
Once the experience will be finished, the artwork will remain with the individual author, in memory of a special day in Florence.
NB:
- No brushes? Don’t worry! Painting tools and materials (paper, brushes, water bowl, Indian ink and Sepia drawing) will be provided for the workshop.
- The watercolour workshop should be kindly requested at least 5 days in advance.
