Founded in Florence by Ms Maria Chiara Pozzana in 2020, the “Firenze Greenway” Cultural Association has the mission to enhance “the green thread of Florence”, a 20 km path dedicated to ecological tourism, along the Viale dei Colli, in the Oltrarno district.

The florentine Greenway crosses the historic centre, a UNESCO world heritage site, the UNESCO sites of the Boboli Gardens, the Medici Villa of Poggio Imperiale, the Basilica of San Miniato al Monte, Piazzale Michelangelo and the Rampe by Giuseppe Poggi.

It consists of several thematic itineraries with plenty of choices: would you like to discover where Tchaikovsky lived? Do you know where the Tivoli Park was? Have you ever been to the Bobolino Gardens? Let’s stop for a classy break at Chalet Fontana … before discovering the enchanting Rione della Pace, the picturesque Erta Canina and S. Leonardo, the lovers’ street. 

The guided walking tour offered by My Flora Guide is the only official guided tour of the “Firenze Greenway” Cultural Association. Ideal for the lovers of walking, nature and beauty!
